Alva cottage village

The peacefully situated village is in the south of the island, 57 km south of Visby and 7 km from Hemse, a provincial town with health center, bank, pharmacy, shopping center baths e.g. The village consists of 5 small wooden cottages around a pond.

Welcome!

Five small cottages are situated around a self dug pond surrounded by woods. A perfect place for those who want to relax and enjoy nature! The cottages, between 12 and 15 qm, have all got a sleeping loft and are individually furnished for 2 - 5 persons. A new bath house, a barbecue, a comfortable lounge with cooking facilities and fridges, a playground for children with a big sand-pit complete the cottage village. You share the bathrooms and the lounge house with other guests.
The Baltic Sea (11 km to the west and 11 km to the east) with its beautiful beaches can fast be reached by bike or car.

Nearest bus stop is Gimbrings. Bus number 10 or 11 from Visby.

Directions

From Visby take road 142 to the south, direction Burgsvik. After 50 km you reach Hemse. Continue on the same road 142. After another 7 km you see the sign "Stugby" on the right hand. Here you turn to the left and drive into the yard and you will find a parking lot. Please ring the bell on the red house to your right, and we will be happy to show you the cottage!
